Collaborated directly with on-set virtual production team, directors and show runners to create detailed animated previz sequences in Maya. These animatics were used as a blueprint for cinematography during shoot days.

Created 3D rough layout animatics as part of a small layout team at Dreamworks. Achieved thrilling, action-packed cinematography, as well as slower, more calculated character moments.

Avatar 2 & 3

Worked on set providing animation support during live virtual production takes. Planned and executed complex camera and character choreography for a variety of sequence types.

Frozen

Worked regularly with directors in order to create dynamic 3D animatics with compositions aimed to convey mood and emotion. Incorporated lighting and depth of field in layout to direct the eye and create atmosphere within each sequence.

Big Hero 6

Lit and composited over 20 stereo-compliant shots using Hyperion and Nuke. Integrated complex crowd elements and FX assets into shots, while keeping render costs low and maintaining a high quality of finish. Collaborated closely with Directors, Director of Cinematography and Visual Effects Supervisor to create stunning visuals and work towards a common vision.
